Wolf Appliance Model & Serial Number Location
If you’re ordering genuine OEM Wolf parts or verifying a repair, the fastest way to avoid mistakes is to pull the Wolf model number and serial number directly from the rating plate. Wolf has model-specific revisions across production runs, so the model/serial tag is what confirms the exact version you have.
Quick tip before you start
- Write down the full model (letters + numbers) and the serial number.
- Open the door/drawer fully — many tags are only visible with the door open.
- Use a flashlight and take a photo. The tag is often small and easy to miss.

Why the model + serial matters (real-world)
When customers call us for parts, most mix-ups come from model-to-model variations—especially on Wolf gas ranges, dual fuel ranges, induction ranges, and wall ovens. With the model and serial, we can match the correct revision for OEM parts and avoid the “almost fits” problem.
Common Wolf parts people search for (when ordering by model/serial)
Once you have the Wolf model number and serial number, it’s much easier to match the correct OEM version. Wolf has real model-to-model variations (and sometimes revisions inside the same model family), so the data tag is what helps confirm the exact configuration before ordering.
