Customers must agree to these terms and conditions before an order is taken and processed. If these terms and conditions are not agreed to, the order will be canceled and will not be processed.
Expert Appliance may provide no-cost technical support, installation guidance, troubleshooting assistance, or product-related information as a courtesy to customers. Most technical support requests are handled through email and photographs so technicians can better evaluate the situation. Live support may be provided when appropriate, but the level, method, and duration of support is at the sole discretion of Expert Appliance.
Technical support is provided as informational guidance only and is not a substitute for professional on-site appliance repair service.
Our staff includes experienced service technicians with decades of combined industry experience, and we strive to provide helpful guidance whenever possible. However, because appliances cannot be inspected in person, all troubleshooting advice and diagnostic assistance are provided without guarantee of accuracy or outcome.
Customers remain responsible for proper diagnosis of appliance issues, safe installation of parts, compliance with electrical, gas, and safety requirements, any damage to appliances or property resulting from repair attempts, and any personal injury resulting from installation or repair.
Expert Appliance reserves the right to limit or decline technical support if a repair may be unsafe or outside the scope of remote assistance.
Technical support is provided as a courtesy and customer convenience only and does not create a professional service agreement or repair contract.
Any installation guidance, troubleshooting assistance, or diagnostic suggestions provided by Expert Appliance are offered as general informational guidance only. By attempting any repair, installation, or troubleshooting based on information provided, the customer assumes all risks associated with the repair, including equipment damage, personal injury, or other losses. Customers who are not comfortable performing appliance repairs should contact a licensed repair technician.
Technical support, troubleshooting suggestions, installation guidance, or diagnostic assistance provided by Expert Appliance do not guarantee that any recommended repair or replacement part will resolve the appliance issue. Customers remain responsible for confirming the correct diagnosis and repair procedure for their appliance.
You have sole responsibility for the use of the products you purchase through this website. Customers are responsible for verifying appliance model numbers and part compatibility before purchasing. Expert Appliance may assist with compatibility verification when model and serial numbers are provided. However, compatibility verification confirms that a part may fit a model, not that the part will resolve the appliance problem. Customers remain responsible for selecting the correct type of part required to repair the appliance issue.
In no event shall we be liable for indirect, punitive, special, exemplary, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of business, revenue, profits, use, data, or other economic advantages.
If you are not a licensed, qualified technician, you are responsible for hiring a qualified service company to install parts purchased from us. Do not attempt to install parts you are not qualified to install. Injury, damage, or an electrical short to the part or other parts can occur, for which we are not liable. No warranty, exchange, or refund will be given for any electrical part that was installed by an unlicensed, unqualified individual or repair company.
Expert Appliance is not responsible for damage to appliances, surrounding equipment, property, or personal injury resulting from improper installation, misuse, or incorrect application of replacement parts. Customers must ensure parts are installed according to manufacturer specifications.
Parts are shipped Monday through Friday excluding holidays. Shipping times are based on normal business days. Next-day and 2nd-day air orders must be received by 10:00 AM EST to make our shipping cut-off time. In some cases, we can ship your order as late as 5:00 PM EST. Please call if you need a specific delivery time before placing your order. Due to the nature of rush orders, next-day and 2nd-day air orders are not guaranteed by Expert Appliance. We are not responsible for the delay caused by the shipping company. Delivery times are from the time of shipping, not from the time the order was submitted. Please understand that it takes time to receive the order, verify parts, process the payment, pick the order from the warehouse, properly pack it, label it, prepare it for the shipping carrier, and for the carrier to pick up the package.
In no event shall this company be liable for any damage or loss of monies you may incur caused by delays in shipping and/or delivery of products ordered. Deliveries can be delayed by backorders, special orders, made-to-order items, out-of-stock parts, rural addresses, weather, holidays, or other reasons caused by the shipping carrier.
Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier and tracking information has been provided, the shipping carrier becomes responsible for the shipment. A shipment marked delivered by the shipping carrier shall be considered proof of delivery. Expert Appliance is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, delayed, or misdelivered after the carrier confirms delivery.
If you receive a damaged part and the box or packaging is damaged, bent, wet, or otherwise compromised, we must be notified within 7 business days from the date of delivery. To file a claim for damage caused during shipment, you must keep the original box and packaging materials. A claim cannot be filed with the shipping carrier outside the 7-day window and/or without the original box and packaging materials. If you still have the original box and packaging materials and it is still within the 7-day window, please send an email to customerservice@expertappliancepro.com to file a claim. Include your first and last name, order number, photos of the damaged box or packing materials, and photos of the damaged merchandise. Denied damage claims by the shipping carrier may result in a recharge of the original order total. Unpaid balances may be turned over to collections.
Failed delivery attempts, delivery refusal, or deliveries lost or stolen after delivery to the address provided on your order will not be given any refund, reshipment, store credit, or exchange. We are not responsible for deliveries made to an incorrect address due to incorrect address information provided by the customer. If the shipper tries to deliver the package and it is refused or no one is available after 3 attempts, the package may be returned to us. The shipper charges shipping both ways in these situations. We can reship the parts again at the customer’s expense. Orders that qualified for free shipping may no longer qualify after a refused or failed delivery.
We are not to be held responsible for lost packages by a mail carrier outside the 50 states. We are also not responsible for delivery delays or any additional fees charged by customs. Any parts delivered outside the 50 states are non-returnable.
If you are ordering a compressor, coil, or any other heavy or bulky part, there could be an additional shipping charge. You will be notified of any additional costs, which must be approved before your order is processed.
Special and made-to-order parts will be charged at the time your order is received and before shipment. Special and made-to-order parts can take anywhere from 14 to 90 days before shipment. This applies to all orders including online, phone, mail-in, fax, and custom checkout links. You will be notified of any additional fees for your approval before your order is processed. No credit will be given on canceled special and made-to-order parts. Special and made-to-order parts cannot be returned under any circumstance and may only be exchanged if found to be incorrect or defective. If you receive an incorrect or defective part, you must contact customerservice@expertappliancepro.com or call customer service within 7 business days from the date of delivery.
In no event shall we be liable for any damages, credit card chargebacks, or loss of monies you may incur caused by incorrect part ordering due to misdiagnosis by you or a third party. Any order placed that is not correctly filled out may be corrected before processing. If you order a part online and enter the incorrect price, no price at all, or choose an incorrect shipping method, you will be contacted for approval before your order is processed. Once approval is given by phone, text message, or email, your order will be processed.
All checks are verified through a third-party check verification service before an order is shipped. If a check cannot be verified, there will be a 2 to 4 business day processing time before shipment is made. This includes expedited shipments as well. Returned checks can be assessed a fee plus any other bank charges we may incur. Checks returned for insufficient funds, stop payment, or closed accounts may be collected by us and/or outside collection agencies. Returned checks for any reason may be assessed an additional $50.00 fee plus applicable sales tax for each check.
All prices are subject to change without notice. Every effort will be made to ensure accurate pricing of the products featured on our website. In the event that a part or accessory is ordered and our listed price has changed to a higher amount due to a special order or recent manufacturer update, you will be notified before your order is processed. Your updated price along with any additional terms agreed to by phone, email, or text message may be shown on your invoice sent by email.
Any chargeback or stop payment may be forwarded to our internal and third-party collection agencies. Chargebacks and stop payments may be assessed with a minimum fee of $75.00.
If you receive an email, text message, or phone call stating that your order has been placed on hold, this does not mean that your order has not been processed, reserved, or special ordered. This is a courtesy follow-up with an estimated date of delivery.
Our primary goal is to ensure the customer receives the correct genuine replacement parts before an order is processed. We provide customers with a way to acquire parts as a do-it-yourselfer. Returns may be accepted only if the parts are unused, in their original packaging, and have been determined to be shipped in error by us. You must allow us to determine whether we made a mistake so we can correct it at no cost to you.
Example: if you ordered a light switch but needed a motor, that is not our mistake. Contact customer service for exchange options. Some parts may look or be installed differently from the original due to design changes and updates made by the manufacturer. A part updated in design by the manufacturer is not considered an incorrect part. If the part we sent looks different from the original and you are unsure whether it will fit, contact us and we can help verify this. You may have the correct part or the only part available for your model.
Please be aware that some parts are not returnable in this industry. In some cases, store credit may be offered on non-qualified returns or cancellations. Even certified licensed contractors are unable to return certain parts to the manufacturer. We cannot resell certain non-returnable parts due to the safety risk to other end users. This is considered an industry standard policy.
If you receive an incorrect part or have any questions about how to return a part, you must contact customerservice@expertappliancepro.com for an RMA number, as no package will be accepted without an RMA number on the box. This RMA request must be made within 7 business days of delivery to qualify for credit. All qualified returns must be received within 14 days of purchase and must be inspected for use or damage. All returned packages should include insurance to cover possible damage in shipment. We are not responsible for a return that is received damaged by the shipping company and/or incorrect packaging by the customer.
Special and made-to-order items cannot be returned. They can only be exchanged if determined by us to be incorrect or defective. A 50% restocking fee minus shipping may apply. Returning an item without an RMA number or without customer service instructions will void any credit or exchange. Credits can take up to 30 days. In some cases, store credit may be offered instead of a refund. Store credit must be approved by the returns department. If store credit is issued, a store credit number may be provided for future use. This does not apply to special and made-to-order items.
Electrical and gas parts are non-returnable. Electrical and gas parts include, but are not limited to, any part that requires electricity or gas connection to work or has wires, wire connections, or terminals on the part. This also includes any part that has a partial wire or wire connection. These parts cannot be returned under any circumstance and may only be exchanged if defective or if it has been determined by our research department that we shipped the incorrect part based on your original order and the model and serial numbers provided when your order was placed.
Other non-returnable parts include, but are not limited to, bi-metals, boards, bulbs, burner blocks, burners, cal rods, cam stats, capacitors, circuit boards, clocks, coils, coil kits, cold controls, compressors, condenser coils, condenser fan blades, contactors, control panels, controllers, conversion kits, custom made filters, cutting grids, defrost boards, detergent cups, detergent dispensers, door hinges, door hinge components, door gaskets, door seals, draft inducer motors, draft motors, electrodes, elements, evaporator coils, exhaust motors, fan centers, flame sensors, fuses, gas valves, harnesses, heaters, heat exchangers, icemakers, igniters, ignition boxes, ignition controls, ignition modules, ignitors, inducer motors, limits, limit controls, magnetrons, manifolds, motors, overloads, pilots, pilot generators, pressure switches, pressure valves, pumps, regulators, relays, restring kits, reversing valves, sequencers, sockets, solenoids, sparkers, spark modules, stats, switches, thermals, thermal cutouts, thermal kits, thermal limits, thermocouples, thermostats, time delays, timers, touch pads, transformers, valves, wig wags, and similar safety-related or electrical/gas-connected parts.
Returns of electrical, gas, and non-returnable parts will not be processed. Any installed, used, scratched, or damaged parts by the consumer cannot be returned. Special and made-to-order parts cannot be returned or canceled under any circumstance once placed. Parts that are no longer available or obsolete cannot be returned. If a return is approved for a non-returnable or special-order part, a 50% restocking fee may be assessed.
An order for products or services represents a commitment on the part of both the customer and the supplier. Processing an order requires an allocation of time, payment processing fees, and other resources not always seen by the customer. Cancellations must be done within 1 hour of the order being placed and before 2:00 PM EST on the date the order was placed online or by phone. Cancellations can take 14 to 60 business days before any credit or refund to a credit card or check can be issued. We reserve the right to refund the purchase in the form of store credit. This does not apply to special and made-to-order parts.
No cancellations will be accepted due to shipping delays caused by the shipping carrier, shipments that went ground instead of rush, or incorrect delivery address information given by the customer. If you need to cancel an order before it has shipped, before pending shipment, and/or before it has been processed, there may be a charge of $20.00 or 35% of the order, whichever is greater. Orders cannot be canceled after they have been processed and/or shipped. If a package has already shipped, the return policy listed above applies.
Special order parts, including made-to-order parts made with the factory and/or manufacturer, cannot be canceled under any circumstance. No refund will be given for special orders, made-to-order, and back-ordered parts.
This is very rare, as we sell high-quality parts. If you do have a defective item, please see the warranty terms below. Parts carry a limited 1-year warranty from the date of purchase.
Electrical parts carry a full 30-day warranty from the date of purchase only if a qualified licensed repair company installed them. This must be verified with an invoice from the repair company that performed the original installation. No warranty, exchange, or refund will be given for any electrical part installed by an unlicensed individual or repair company.
If the parts were initially installed by a qualified licensed technician, they must be returned within 30 days for exchange only. These parts should be returned with original packing materials when available. They must be returned first for inspection for damage, power surge failure, misuse, or improper installation. If this is found, the warranty will not apply.
Parts determined to be defective after 30 days and up to 1 year from the date of purchase may be replaced at a charge to the customer of 50% off the purchased price. Shipping and handling charges will be additional.
To file a warranty claim on a compressor with the manufacturer, you will first need a repair invoice with letterhead from the authorized technician or licensed service company stating the date of installation, the detailed problem with the installation, the type of refrigerant used, the method and length of the vacuum used before start-up, low-side and high-side pressures noted after installation or while experiencing the issue, the technician's final diagnosis, and a photo of the model and serial numbers of the unit where the compressor was installed. Without this information, a compressor warranty claim cannot be processed.
Non-electrical parts carry a full 30-day warranty from the date of purchase and must be returned within 30 days as defective items for exchange only. They must be returned first for inspection for damage, misuse, or improper installation. If this is found, the warranty will not apply. Parts found to be defective after 30 days and up to 1 year from the date of purchase may be replaced at a charge to the customer of 50% off the purchased price. Shipping and handling charges will be additional. To return defective material, contact customerservice@expertappliancepro.com.
Parts that are no longer made or available carry no warranty and are sold as-is.
