How to Find Your Sub-Zero Model & Serial Number (Data Tag Location)

If you’re ordering genuine OEM Sub-Zero parts, troubleshooting an error code, or requesting service, you’ll almost always need the model number and serial number. Sub-Zero uses a rating plate / data tag (usually a silver sticker about the size of a business card). Depending on the series, it can be behind drawers, near the upper hinge area, or inside the cabinet.

What the Sub-Zero model/serial tag looks like

Here are real examples of the data tag you’re looking for:

Why the model + serial matters (real-world)

Sub-Zero has model-specific variations across production runs. The model/serial tells us the correct platform and revision, which helps match door gaskets, thermistors, fans, control boards, ice maker parts, and other OEM components to the right version.

Informational only. For model-specific procedures, consult Sub-Zero documentation or a qualified technician.
